Congratulations to Seminole’s 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year — Ms. Coleman!

We are thrilled to recognize Ms. Coleman, one of our exceptional second grade teachers, as this year’s Teacher of the Year! In addition to her dedication in the classroom, Ms. Coleman stepped into the role of second grade team leader this year, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration.

She pours her heart into her teaching, creating a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve at high levels. Beyond her work with students, Ms. Coleman also took on the role of PBIS Coach, leading efforts to expand how we recognize and celebrate positive student behavior across the school.

Thank you, Ms. Coleman, for your unwavering commitment to excellence and for the many ways you contribute to the Seminole community. We are proud to celebrate you!

Congratulations, Ms. Coleman!

This week, students in Ms. Allen’s class explored the day and night cycle in science by using flashlights to model how the Earth rotates. They had a hands-on opportunity to see how sunlight hits different parts of the Earth at different times, helping them better understand why we have day and night. The students were engaged, curious, and excited to make their own observations and connections to the world around them!

Last week, you may have noticed that our staff were dressed a little differently than usual… That’s because we were having an Undercover Staff Spirit Week! 🎉 It was such a fun way to shake things up and definitely kept our students on their toes (and a little confused at times 😄). We loved the creativity and the laughter it brought throughout the week!
